Working as a home and community-based consultant, Amy conducts assessments and treatment plans for children with communication difficulties and problem behaviors in Northeast Florida.
Amy graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology as well as Early Childhood Education. She completed her Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Florida. Amy has been a certified teacher since 1999 and has taught in both special education and general education classrooms, teaching preschool through second grade. Amy has been certified as a BCBA since 2009 and was a BCaBA the preceding 3 years. Amy’s background brings a unique blend of educational and science-based ABA training to provide the highest quality of services to each client Behavior Builders serves.
Amy has presented research at the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis, has published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, and provided numerous workshops to parents, teachers, classrooms, administrators, and churches across Northeast Florida.
