Stephanie has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2010 and was a BCaBA for 6 years prior to obtaining her BCBA certification. Stephanie obtained a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston. Stephanie joined Behavior Builders in February of 2014.
Prior to Behavior Builders, Stephanie was the Behavior Analyst at a local children’s clinic. She spent 7 years working as a home and community-based consultant and has extensive experience conducting language and behavior assessments, developing language and behavior intervention plans, and in training parents and educators on ABA interventions. Stephanie has taught social skills groups for individuals with Autism and related disorders in classroom and community settings. She has consulted to parents from all over the world with children with Down syndrome regarding behavior consultation and ongoing support.
Previously, Stephanie was employed as an Employment Specialist, assisting adults with disabilities in finding jobs, as well as with job training. Stephanie was an instructor at a local school for children with Autism, where she was trained in Verbal Behavior / ABA therapy. Stephanie is passionate about her work and is very excited to be a member of the Behavior Builder team!
