Adrieanna has been working with children since before she can remember. She discovered her passion for working with children during her junior year of high school. She has previous experience working with children through babysitting, working at the YMCA, and teaching early preschool. She also has experience working with children with Autism and Down syndrome.  She loves being able to see children progress in all their skills and is excited to get to do that at Behavior Builders. She is currently a junior at the University of North Florida pursuing her Bachelor's in Science, with a major in Psychology and a Minor in Interpretation. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with friends and family and engage in mind stimulating experiences such as escape rooms.

Alexa is a Registered Behavior Technician working at Behavior Builders.  Alexa is very passionate about working with children, especially children with disabilities. She started off working in the daycare system where she also worked with children with disabilities. She then moved into a  Nanny role where she assisted with the child’s journey with vocalization. Alexa is a firm believer of positive energy and intends to bring that energy to each of her sessions. She hopes to continue expanding her knowledge in ABA therapy.

Alexandria is a Behavior Analyst with Behavior Builders. She discovered her passion for working with children during her years in a childcare and in educational settings. Alexandria has worked with children for more than 10 years. She obtained her undergraduate in Psychology at Liberty University, her graduate degree in Psychology: Applied Behavior Analysis, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Higher Education: Mental Health and Human Services. Alexandria enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and discovering new places in her spare time.

Allison is a Registered Behavioral Technician for Behavior Builders. She discovered her passion through majoring in Child Psychology and nannying for a family. While she is still earning her Bachelor's degree, she had an internship with UF Health Neurodevelopment Pediatrics and decided she wanted to become an advocate for helping children. Allison is having the best time working with Behavior Builders and loves seeing the difference each employee makes. She plans to further her career and get a Master's degree in hopes of becoming a BCBA one day.

Working as a home and community-based consultant, Amy conducts assessments and treatment plans for children with communication difficulties and problem behaviors in Northeast Florida.

Amy graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology as well as Early Childhood Education.  She completed her Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Florida.  Amy has been a certified teacher since 1999 and has taught in both special education and general education classrooms, teaching preschool through second grade.  Amy has been certified as a BCBA since 2009 and was a BCaBA the preceding 3 years.  Amy's background brings a unique blend of educational and science-based ABA training to provide the highest quality of services to each client Behavior Builders serves.

Amy has presented research at the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis, has published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, and provided numerous workshops to parents, teachers, classrooms, administrators, and churches across Northeast Florida.

Ashlyn became a BCBA in 2021 after graduating with her Master's of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. She graduated in the spring of 2021 from the University of Saint Joseph (Connecticut). Ashlyn won the "Best Thesis Award" out of her whole 2021 graduating class for her work on her thesis titled "Teaching Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder to Tact Emotions on Those Wearing a Mask". The thesis entailed teaching children with ASD to understand and label emotions on a person that was wearing a mask, focusing on their eye movements and other body language.  Prior to Behavior Builders, Ashlyn worked in a clinic with children ages 2-14, focusing on programs such as manding, social skills, and activities of daily living (ADL's). She also has experience in home programming, where she would take the skills the child learned in the clinic and apply it to a home setting. Ashlyn also has experience with parent training and using ABA over a telehealth platform.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her infant daughter, her husband, and her rescue black lab. Since she is a long-time Connecticut resident who recently relocated to Florida, she enjoys exploring Florida by visiting new restaurants, stores, and parks!

Becca joined Behavior Builders in 2015 as the Office and Billing Assistant. Prior to working at Behavior Builders, she worked at various agencies in several positions including receptionist, billing and scheduling coordinator, job coach, respite care provider, and camp counselor. All of these positions enabled her to work with children and young adults with disabilities.  Out of all of her experiences, Becca enjoyed the billing aspect most of all and she considers it extremely fulfilling and a necessary part of ABA therapy.  Becca is also the mother of two young boys and enjoys spending time with her family in her time off.

Bill has been a BCBA since 2001 and has been using ABA and working with people with Autism, developmental disabilities, and/or problem behaviors for over 21 years.  Bill earned his Bachelor's degree from Clark University in Massachusetts and his Master's degree from the University of the Pacific in Calfornia.

In his role as Clinical Director, Bill is responsible for ensuring that Behavior Builders provides the highest level of integrity for our services, including assessments, treatment plans, staff-individual interactions, clinical programming, and parent training.  Bill's areas of interest are the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior (e.g., aggression, property destruction, elopement, self-injury, etc.)  and early, intensive language interventions.

Prior to joining Behavior Builders, Bill was Vice President of Behavioral Services for a large ABA organization in the Jacksonville area, working at this location for 13 years.  In this role, Bill was responsible for all aspects of behavioral services for 70 individuals and 130 staff.  He created and supervised the consultation team of home-based and school consultation for children with Autism, other developmental disabilities, and / or problem behaviors; the residential ABA program for children and adults with severe problem behaviors was rated #1 in the state of Florida under Bill's tenure.

Previously, Bill was an educational and/or behavioral consultant to families and schools in four states: California, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Florida.  Bill has published ten articles in ABA peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Education and Treatment of Children and Behavioral Interventions.  He has presented over 30 posters, papers, symposia and workshops at various professional conferences.  He has conducted numerous staff trainings and workshops for parents, professional organizations, schools and local support groups.

Bridget is a Behavior Analyst for Behavior Builders and has been a BCBA since 2007.  Bridget received her graduate degree from Auburn University where she worked in a variety of settings including preschool early intervention services, consultation with area schools, and parent training classes for the Alabama Department of Human Resources.

Previously, Bridget worked at a large ABA organization in the Jacksonville area as the Assistant Director of Home-Based Services and Consulting.  In this role, Bridget worked in homes, schools, and adult day programs providing skill acquisition and behavior reduction services to children, adolescents, and adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities.  Prior to this role, she worked as a Behavior Analyst in a residential program specializing in ABA services for severe problem behaviors (e.g., aggression, property destruction, elopement, self-injury etc.).   Bridget was in charge of behavioral programming and staff training for two group homes.

Bridget has presented at state and national professional conferences on topics such as Autism and assessment of severe behavior problems.  Her research on problem behaviors won two awards at the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA) conference.

Brittany enjoys teaching social skills and seeing her clients learn new skills. His passion for education came from his mother who always told him the old saying, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.”, this passion for learning has evolved into a passion for the education of others. His passion for working with children evolved from his years of watching the children he was babysitting and the ones in his family change and grow over the years, being involved in that process has been both an honor and a privilege for Caleb and he is excited to now have the honor and the privilege to expand that involvement into the community.  Caleb is currently working towards completing his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of North Florida. His dream is to become a counselor for children and young adults and to advocate for mental health awareness and programs within our school systems and community. In his free time Caleb enjoys gardening, reading, and writing within the fantasy genre and playing board games with his friends.

Before joining Behavior Builders, she worked at a youth group home that specialized in mental / behavioral issues. Chrissy was team mom for a youth football league for several years as well as a room mom. In her free time, she enjoys watching football, spending time with her family, and supporting her children in their many extracurricular activities.

Ellie has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2020.  Her studies were completed at the University of North Florida where she earned her Masters degree in Special Education with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis.  Prior to joining Behavior Builders Ellie worked at another clinic in Jacksonville providing ABA therapy for children and teens. Ellie also worked for five years as a special education teacher in Jacksonville, Florida.  She has experience working with a variety of exceptionalities and age groups.  She enjoys working with kids and teens to develop their social and school readiness skills.  When she isn’t working, Ellie enjoys being at the beach or visiting her family in Tennessee.

She has over 12 years’ experience working with children. Prior to working for Behavior Builders, she worked as a paraprofessional in schools and in the home helping to enhance the lives of the children she worked with. Her passion for teaching effective communication to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder has guided her to a career in ABA. Kristin was also the team mom for her son’s football team and enjoys assisting her daughter’s teacher as needed in the classroom. She enjoys spending time with her family attending cheer competitions, soccer games and watching football on the weekends.

Kylie was introduced to this community of people when she began volunteering her freshman year of college. She assisted with a non-profit called Surfer’s for Autism where she helped individuals with different abilities learn how to surf. After that first day on the beach, she knew this was her passion. Kylie continued to volunteer throughout college with sports and water therapy programs for kids and adults with different abilities while also pursuing her degree in Developmental Psychology. After college she began working at the North Florida School of Special Education and respiting for families who have neurodivergent children with higher support needs. Kylie loves supporting this community. Being a part of these kids’ learning experiences brings so much joy to her life and she is so happy to be apart of a company that prioritizes those same values.

LeiLani is a Registered Behavior Technician with Behavior Builders and serves as the Lead Technician for the company. In this role, she assists Behavior Analysts with materials preparation and program development and serves as an intermediary between the analysts and other technicians.

LeiLani developed her passion for working with children in the early 1990’s by volunteering with children with developmental disabilities.  It has been her pleasure to teach children of all ages for the past twenty years.  Prior to working at Behavior Builders, she served as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher in the private school setting.  This employment afforded her the opportunity to teach and tutor children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. LeiLani’s passion is to help children use their curiosity and endless supply of energy to accomplish academic and physical goals.  In LeiLani’s time off, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and motivating friends to walk for health and fitness.

Nicole is the Operations Manager for Behavior Builders. Nicole obtained a Master's Degree in Leadership from Shorter College and a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice from Missouri Western University.  Prior to Behavior Builders, Nicole worked in various roles throughout the Pediatric Healthcare System. She has over ten years of experience in streamlining operations in a healthcare setting. Her experience also includes program coordination, case management, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, billing and managing clinic operations.  She has a strong passion for process improvement and customer satisfaction. Nicole was drawn to Behavior Builders so that she can have an impact on all the non clinical aspects of the clients journey. Advocating for families on the insurance and billing side, providing the best customer care experience possible excites her!

You can catch Nicole on the football field cheering her son on or at the beach playing with him. She loves cheering for her Georgia Bulldawgs and the KC Chiefs.

Paige received her graduate degree from Ball State University and has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2016. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of North Florida in Psychology with a concentration in Child Psychology. Paige has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults on the autism spectrum and down syndrome. She has worked in a variety of settings with clients, such as in-home, community, schools, and clinics. Paige enjoys helping children and adolescents with developing social skills and independence with daily living.  In her spare time, she enjoys going on walks with her dog and traveling.

While in college, she became a phlebotomy technician at the University of Iowa where she specifically worked in the pediatric unit. Samantha has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2018 and was a BCaBA for 4 years prior to obtaining her BCBA certification.  She has been working in the field since 2011.  Prior to joining Behavior Builders, Samantha was the Director at a center for children with Autism in Central Florida.  This is where she conducted assessments and implemented programs on acquisition skills, daily living skills, social skills, and problem behaviors.  She also managed, trained, and supervised a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

Samantha has experience providing ABA services working in home, community, clinical, and school settings.  She also has experience with parent training, where she analyses any reported problem behaviors and will model behavior-analytic procedures for the parents.  Over the years, she has worked with children between the ages of 2 years old to young adults.  Her current interests are teaching daily living skills such as toilet training, eating, hair cutting, as well as, verbal behavior and language acquisition (through vocal speech, sign, PECS, and devices).

Samantha has obtained two Master’s degrees.  A Master’s in Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analyst from Arizona State University (graduated in 2018) and a Master’s Degree in Corporate and Organizational Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University (graduated in 2011).  Samantha is passionate about her work and strives to make a difference in the lives of others.

Samantha is the Office Assistant for Behavior Builders.  She graduated from the University of North Florida with with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  Samantha has previously worked with children in multiple settings. She is ready to make a big difference in small ways. In her free time Samantha enjoys going to the springs and spending time with her fur babies.

Sara is currently a Registered Behavior Technician with Behavior Builders. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Her passion and dedication for promoting learning and healthy lifestyles was apparent at a young age. Growing up playing three sports taught her the importance of being part of a team and the community.

Prior to working with Behavior Builders, Sara worked as a paraprofessional as well as a substitute teacher across Northeast Florida. Her experience includes working with children and young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In her free time, she enjoys going to sporting events with her family and as well coaching various sports.

Sasha has had years of experience working with children through babysitting and working in a daycare setting. Before joining Behavior Builders, she taught preschool for 2 years. She loves being a part of helping children progress in every way they can. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with her family and friends.

Stephanie has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2010 and was a BCaBA for 6 years prior to obtaining her BCBA certification.  Stephanie obtained a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston.  Stephanie joined Behavior Builders in February of 2014.

Prior to Behavior Builders, Stephanie was the Behavior Analyst at a local children's clinic.  She spent 7 years working as a home and community-based consultant and has extensive experience conducting language and behavior assessments, developing language and behavior intervention plans, and in training parents and educators on ABA interventions.  Stephanie has taught social skills groups for individuals with Autism and related disorders in classroom and community settings.  She has consulted to parents from all over the world with children with Down syndrome regarding behavior consultation and ongoing support.

Previously, Stephanie was employed as an Employment Specialist, assisting adults with disabilities in finding jobs, as well as with job training.  Stephanie was an instructor at a local school for children with Autism, where she was trained in Verbal Behavior / ABA therapy.  Stephanie is passionate about her work and is very excited to be a member of the Behavior Builder team!

Sydney is a Registered Behavior Technician for Behavior Builders. She discovered her passion for working with children when she volunteered for many children’s events in High School. While she was working towards her Bachelor’s degree, she worked as a leader in after school  programs. Sydney loves being a part of the Behavior Builders team and to make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families! In her free time, Sydney enjoys playing trivia and going to karaoke with friends. She also loves caring for her houseplants.
